Finding Yourself

I loved Finding Neverland. It was so quiet and slow at the beginning that it bores. However, i was greatly entertained by the fidgeting noises people made, the crackling sound of popcorn in their mouths and the occasional handphone ringing. Whoa! So the coolest ringtone nowadays is.... Damn it! Stop all the moving and nonsense that u do in the theatres. It totally drags me out of the movie. Finding Neverland is all about dreaming. So u have to put everything outta ur mind and just go with the flow.



Johnny Depp is the man who wrote Peter Pan. He, who is coming off a lousy opening to his new play, chances upon four boys in the park. He manages to enchant them with his flights of fancy and in so doing, bring him closer to their widowed mother, Kate Winslet.



She plays the traditional british single mum role convincingly as she has to juggle her household chores and looking after her boisterous boys and a somewhat tragic secret. I so nearly weeped for her and i simply adored her. If all single mums were so beautiful, i would be in deep trouble.

The movie is enchantingly beautiful. Its starts whimpering but ends with such a romantic climax. The jokes arnt everywhere but just dotted tastefully amidst drama and sadness. Thats more so why the film soars cos its played out so simply. Pls do not put down the film cos its really about dreams and finding innocence amongst everything grown-up.
